Pair of Still-Life Mezzotint Prints, Johann Pichler after Jan van Huysum, c 1806
Located in Shippensburg, PA
A handsome pair of mezzotints by Austrian printer Johann Peter Pichler circa 1806 after the original painting on copper by Jan van Huysum. They remain in a nearly pristine overall condition. The same prints are carried in the permanent collections of the Winterthur Museum, the British Museum of Art and the National Galleries of Scotland; the original painting for the print with the bird's nest is also held in the permanent collection of the National Galleries of Scotland. High-quality Viennese Art Deco Red Handmade Wool Rug by Doris Leslie Blau
Size: 8'2" × 11'2" (248 × 340 cm)
This vintage rug was created circa 1940 in Vienna. This is how Art Deco style looks combined with Viennese elegance.
