Within Reach - unique black-and-white contemporary landscape abstract photograph
By Kimberly Schneider Photography
Located in New York, NY
"Within Reach" - Unique silver gelatin print (mixed process photogram); Made with ice, flowers, sand, glitter, and more. BRAND NEW, printed on Fomatone MG 133, a beautiful, slightly textured chamois paper, in April 2023. [This one-of-a-kind black-and-white photograph is a slightly weird size, as it was made with a sheet of paper that had previously been cut for a test strip. The width is actually 8 1/16"] After falling into photography by way of eastern religions a lifetime ago, the latter quickly found its way into my work, and never left. I think of both my (covid-born) cameraless photographs and my film-based silver gelatin prints as subconscious self-portraits or spiritual landscapes...

Oxygenate
By Keith Ladzinski
Located in Boulder, CO
A limited Edition Print by National Geographic Photographer Keith Ladzinski from his series “Rooted: The Importance and Beauty of Trees”. Over the last 10,000 years, the planet has lost over 1/3rd of its forests, some 5 Million square miles, half of that since the 1900’s. Tree’s are responsible for 3 of every 10 breaths of air we inhale, and provide shelter and habitat for countless species. Simply put, a world without trees would be bleak and inhospitable for terrestrial animals in a whole, they bring balance, beauty and stability to life here. Over the last century humans have cut down half of the planets rainforests for lumber and agricultural habitat. As heat index and drought conditions continue to increase, many trees are facing an ever increased threat of wild fire and access to fresh water. This series focuses on the beauty and hardships of trees around the world. Zooming through a moss covered grove of trees along a small cliff line...
