THE DOOR OF JUSTICE is an original, hand drawn, limited edition lithograph by the highly acclaimed African-American woman artist Elizabeth Catlett, master printmaker and sculptor best known for her depictions of the African-American experience. THE DOOR OF JUSTICE was printed using hand lithography techniques on archival Arches printmaking paper, 100% acid free, pencil signed by Elizabeth Catlett on the lower margin, embossed with printers chop mark on lower corner, print documentation provided. THE DOOR OF JUSTICE was created as a tribute to civil rights lawyers and the people they counsel depicted as a figurative portrait drawing of two lawyer figures, male and female opening "The Door of Justice" to a gathering of everyday people awaiting outside the doorway. Printed in primary color shades of yellow, blue, red, green, brown, gray and black.
