Anne Rose Regenboog Drawings
Anne Rose Regenboog lives in Den Haag. She studied, after her goldsmith education, applied to fine arts at the Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam. Her sources of inspiration are the classic elementary forms. Her works are autonomous; they are the result of a study in material and shapes. Initially, she presented her ideas in jewelry however after several years, the work grew in size, and it became clear that paintings and metalwork in a larger size are good practice were to ideas, which proved unsuitable for jewelry, nevertheless. The installation made of cubes is serial work. It started with an elementary module: open wire objects in the shape of cubes within which a diversity of characteristic configurations come to shape. This is how a three-dimensional game is created with lines, where the inner space is never locked in.
