The pieces of this exceptional, antique George V straight sterling silver flatware service for six persons have been crafted in the Old English pattern. The anterior surface of each fork handle and the reverse surface of each spoon handle features a pip to the terminal. Each spoon, including the sauce ladle, bears a plain rounded heel to the reverse of the bowl. This antique silver cutlery canteen consists of 55 pieces: Basic service: Six table knives. Six table forks. Six table spoons. Six soup spoons. Six dessert knives. Six dessert forks. Six dessert spoons. Six teaspoons. Six coffee spoons. Additional pieces: Sauce ladle. The fundamental pieces of this antique silver cutlery set have been crafted by Sheffield silversmiths Atkin Brothers, apart from the table and dessert knives, which are replacements.
