While luxury furniture designer Corinna Warm has lived in Berlin, Milan, London and Los Angeles, she has garnered herself a place in the center of the design world regardless of her physical address. Her commitment to excellence is exemplified in her designs for pendant lights, floor lamps, side tables and more — she works with natural materials and sleek, understated forms to create pieces that offer comfort and elegance in any living space.
Warm moved from her home in Berlin, Germany, to attend the prestigious Central Saint Martins School of Art and Design in London, UK, initially intending to study graphic design before switching to product design after having visited the campus’s workshop facilities. After graduation, she moved to Milan, Italy. Warm worked for well-known designers such as Shin and Tomoko Azumi, Isao Hosoe and Tom Dixon, among others. Warm returned to London to accept a position working for David Linley, a British furniture designer widely known for his focus on craft. This would be a pivotal moment in her career — with Linley, the nephew of Queen Elizabeth II and founder of the royal cabinetmaker workshop Linley in 1985, Warm encountered the principles of cabinetmaking and the fundamentals of well-made, durable furnishings. She developed new skills and a clear mindset in her approach to design.
At the 2007 London Design Festival, Warm successfully launched Studio Warm, initially a furniture brand recognized for its merging of contemporary and classical elements. Today it is a multi-disciplinary design consultancy.
In 2008, Warm opened her London studio, where she offers her luxury furniture designs, expertly crafted using traditional techniques. Riding the wave of her massive success in Europe, Warm expanded her studio to Los Angeles, California. She splits her time between London and L.A.
Warm finds inspiration for her bespoke work where her clients see it. It could be the natural world, fashion, film or even music. She avoids social media trends and spends her time offline and hands-on. Choosing to work directly with her makers and craftspeople, Warm prefers an immersed approach to her work. She sees design as more than style and function — furniture is the heart of every home and centers around creating memories, hence the quality of her work must be superior, as she intends to deliver something that can be part of a legacy.

The Circus floor lamp’s classic design, contemporary silhouette and sophisticated color palette makes for a versatile product finding its use in either a work or home setting, paired next to a sofa or lounge chair. It sits at the right height to simply exist on its own. Not many floor lights transition this easily between a domestic and commercial environment. Featuring a spun aluminum shade and base and available in either a black or white fine texture powder-coated finish, its luxurious bronze interior emits a warm glow.

Since 2015, Magic Circus Éditions has been setting the world of lighting ablaze, creating airy, playful and magical designs that merge retro with sleek and contemporary.
A free-spirited antiquarian, founder Marie-Lise Féry draws inspiration from the world of cabarets and the magic of the circus to give shape to imaginative, fun and playful collections. The air of magic she breathes into her work reveals a wealth of interpretations and widens possibilities for creative interiors.
The combination of traditional know-how — outstanding craftsmanship — and her imaginative take on historical, everyday objects lends an unexpected and charming quality to her creations.
Féry’s lights are designed just like magic lanterns — precursor to modern-day cinema —, inspiring wonder through oversized, seemingly weightless compositions and understated references.
Each collection has its own inspiration: the first models of street lighting for Collection 01; the happy memories of funfairs, sweets and balloons for her latest collection Balloon; the Far East for Collection 02; and the colourful, carefree spirit of the 70s for Pop-Up, released in 2019. Magic Circus Éditions draws on airy designs, dream-like inspirations, colours and fun to create a sense of enchantment.
Magic Circus Éditions founder Marie-Lise Féry was born in Paris. After studyingart business, she moved to New York to start her career. Fascinated by the city’s architecture, she found an endless source of inspiration in the Big Apple’s monumental decors. Returning to France to settle down in Lyon, she opened an antiques gallery named Un Château en Espagne, and started telling her own stories through objects she gleaned on markets all around the country. A way for her to perpetuate her mother’s motto: “Objects with a soul will always belong”.
Since 2015, the year she established Magic Circus Éditions, she has moved on to lighting as a new medium for telling her stories, bringing the magic of the show into home interiors. With her love for the circus, turn-of-the-century cabarets and music halls, Marie-Lise Féry’s love of unusual objects has remained strong, but now prefers to focus her attention on pieces she has imagined herself. With a fun and light-spirited approach, she creates a bold visual effect that elicits instant attraction. She collaborates with some of Europe’s greatest artisans, from Prague and Murano to Clermont-Ferrand, working for instance with a Czech company specialising in sculpting glass using a diamond-blade saw, or an auto body shop renowned for their work with lacquers. The refinement of shapes and finishes, bespoke designs and technical excellence all contribute to creating pieces that inspire surprise and wonderment.
