We invite you here to look at a splendid as well as rarest Meissen Art Nouveau Dinner Set for six persons consisting of 24 pieces: White porcelain, borders painted in royal blue and gold. Form type so-said "T-GLATT" (which means smooth form) = round form type with smooth surface. Marks: There is at reverse side of dinner set's pieces MEISSEN SWORD MARK (underglazed) with Pommels on Hilts existing. Various former's numbers visible. MODEL NUMBER T 21 - T 42 Made circa 1915-1924 First quality Design: Hans Rudolf Hentschel (Berlin-Coelln 1869-1951 Meissen)  Hans R. Hentschel was a German porcelain painter and etcher. His younger brother was the well-known Konrad Hentschel (1872 – 1907) who died early: Both artists are the most important representatives of Art Nouveau period in Meissen. - Hans Rudolf Hentschel created various painted decorations as well as some new types of dishes (among them the most important Meissen Art Nouveau Dinner Set called "T-glatt" we're presenting here). - The painted decorations he created are for example: "Fluegelmuster" (Pattern of Wings), "Krokusmuster" (Pattern of Crocus), "Arnikamuster" (Pattern of Arnica), all of them very aesthetical and of finest quality. Beyond that, H.R. Hentschel designed vases and figurines, too (for example "Lady clad in Riding Costume with Greyhound" or "Female Tennis Player") .
