Jean Chevolleau Abstract Prints
Jean Chevolleau studied at the École Nationale Supérieure Des Beaux-Arts in Paris, became a drawing teacher and then an artist. Close to Camille Renault, known as Big Boy, he worked in particular with the Puteaux group and met Picabia, Lafresnaye, Léger, Delaunay and Duchamp. His style was inspired by Braque, Cézanne, Matisse and Villon. His latest model was Claudine Texier. Chevolleau's property bought by the town hall of Fontenay-le-Comte became Maison d'artiste, then resold in 2020 to a Real Estate Company.
