Freshwater keishi pearls, with their gorgeous silky nacre, have been hand-linked with rhodium silver and juxtaposed with a jaw dropping Georgian Enamel Silver Paste Pendant. The rich cobalt blue enameled disc has been encased within a silver paste cartouche frame and accented with a feminine silver paste basket of flowers. Three little teardrops dangle from below the ornate frame. This unique necklace has been married to a frilled section of hand-linked rock crystal and kyanite rondelles and further enhanced with a grouping of pink sapphire flanked with pyrite in gold vermeil. The gold vermeil is repeated again as the delicate pendant is suspended from a twist faceted rock crystal teardrop with hand coiled gold vermeil loops.

When I first began collecting these lovely scent bottles, they were readily available and quite lovely. Fast forward thru the pandemic plus everyone figuring out this gorgeous format and they supply has simply dried up! Be that as it may, when I do find a lovely scent bottle that is reasonably priced, I do tend to snag it. The is the case with this Moser hand painted scent bottle in the shape of a pink heart. Although the stopper is now missing, it is not an unusual predicament to not find them in place on these scent bottles. When you realize how very tiny they are, that should easily explain how they might have been lost or damaged over the past hundreds of years.

When I received this Venetian glass intaglio Maltese-styled pendant from my Italian supplier, I really had no particular idea of how this would be made . . . but I loved all of the colors and the design. Fast forward and with a limited supply of gemstones available to work with, and I was so happy to find I still had a strand of lovely aqua quartz ovals available. We work with what we have on hand, and much like making dinner . . . this necklace evolved.
A strand of beautifully delicate aqua quartz faceted ovals, have been enhanced by creamy freshwater pearls found stationed along the strand. The addition of some tiny daisy spacers flanking the pearls, brings out the gold of the stunning removable hinged-bail Maltese style intaglio pendant and the aqua of the center intaglio repeats in the aqua ovals of the necklace.
