Louis Touchagues was born in Saint-Cyr-au-Mont-d'Or, France, in 1893. Arriving in Paris in 1923, Touchagues traced the point of his pencil or brush, half a century of Parisian life. He collaborated with various illustrated papers and satirists. Guitry, Mr. Achard, Mr. Ayme, G. Duhamel. Touchagues' three albums, Women and models, Parisian and Waves in St Tropez, reflect his favorite subject, women.
