Painter of landscapes, both rural and citizens - with figures and in the presence of ancient architecture - and also of genre scenes, Pietro Sassi from Alessandria moved to Rome and traveled to Italy (Tirolo, Venice, Lago Maggiore, Roman Campagna), in look for cues for his paintings and his watercolors.
