Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown Sommerso purple Italian art glass geode cut bowl. Attributed to the Seguso Vetri d'Arte company, circa 1960s. A similar bowl is shown in the company photo archives, item number 12877, and is published in their book. The bowl has an outer layer of amethyst, middle layer of sapphire blue, with rich violet overlay in the top layer (Ametista - Blu - Violetto).
