A Very Fine George II Salver Made by William Peaston in London in 1752.
The Salver stands on three cast hoof feet and is circular in form with a raised rim decorated with scrolls and shells, typical of the late George II period. The centre of the main body is engraved with a contemporary Armorial surrounded by a cartouche of floral sprays and shells.
