Yoshi Takata Wall Decorations
Yoshi Takata was an artist, born in 1916 and died in Paris in 2009. Japanese by birth, Parisian by adoption, Takata was the expressive eye of the formal and stylistic research of the fashion designer, Pierre Cardin. She cultivated her private passion for photography, highlighting landscapes as well as moods. Her work and art represent her passion for a specific style and equal passion for a city and its people: Paris. Takata’s photographs speak both to her love for her adopted city of Paris and her great sensitivity in being able to grasp the highlights of a different culture and translate them in an intense, sophisticated style. Her photographs, mostly black and white, were taken from the 1950s to the 1980s in Paris and follow her own personal, expressive path.
