A TYP 505 wall mounted lamp, based on the iconic TYP 113. This modular lamp was produced with 3 different arm lengths, 3 types of (rotating) lampshades and a choice in type of joints. The lamp is in good condition, rewired and all parts working and rotating. The original lightswitch is also still present and working. Curt Fischer is well known for his innovative designs and still regarded as one of the greatest 20th-century inventors. At the time, just after WW1, recovering from the war, people worked long hours until late in the evening.
