About Galerie Rhea
Galerie Rhéa was founded in Zurich in 1990. Owner is Michael Petropoulos, a member of CINOA (International Confederation of Art and Antique Dealers' Associations), IADAA (International Association of Dealers in Ancient Art), and SADAA (Swiss Federal Syndicate of Dealers in Antiques & Art). We are exhibiting at TEFAF Maastricht since 1995 and AiB in Basel. When buying or selling fine antiquities from the ancient Mediterranean cultures we strive to serve our customers, be they experienced collectors or novice aficionados, by adhering to strict ethical and archaeological criteria. We are known for providing our customers with first-rate scholarship and guidance in making their choices and we are always present and committed to accompany them in maintaining or upgrading their collections as taste and lifestyle change. All items sold are free of liens and encumbrances and their authenticity is unconditionally guaranteed. Discretion is a matter of course. Our prices vary from low hundreds to high thousands. Pieces from our inventory have found places in many important private collections, institutions and more than 20 Museums such as, the MET New York, the MFA Boston, Havard University Art Museums, The Bible Land Museum, Jerusalem, the British Museum, etc., etc. Please feel free to contact us by phone or mail at any time.
