About Jack Robinson Archive
Jack Robinson began his art career in the early 1950s in New Orleans. At the behest of renowned gallerist Betty Parsons, he moved to New York in 1955 to pursue a career in photography. In 1959, he landed the cover of Life Magazine. Jack worked consistently as a freelance fashion photographer; most notably for The New York Times Sunday fashion magazine, where he became a favorite and go-to of fashion editor Carrie Donovan. When Carrie moved to Vogue under Diana Vreeland, she took Jack with her. His work appeared in the pages of Vogue over 500 times between 1965 and 1972. ...Read More
