Bulbs are sorrounded by 24 led crystal vertical elements to diffuse the light with the refraction principle.
This is an interesting version of the Sciolari's production. Usually he is known for bare un-shaded lights and great, sculptural, metalwork. Most of the time it's missing a play with light. Here Gaetano has used classic crystal chandelier in a contemporary revised and updated design. A step in the past: chandeliers were made to have many upward lights (in origin candles) to provide greater light output for larger rooms. The addition of elements of glass or crystal all around was not made to shade the light, but to refract it, creating the impression of multiplying the light candles or bulbs used. This lighting play was used with all the leaves and frills of Murano chandeliers and French crystal chandeliers...

This chandelier is specifically designed for low ceilings, with a height of only 13 inches (32 cm). The arms and shade holders are made of brass, while the central part is made of metal to hold the leverage. Brass Sistema chandelier, made with a nickel plated finish lightly brushed.
This chandelier brings the popular chrome like finish to the Sistema and Sistema solare group.
I'm using nickel finish because it's harder and the light brushing gives more dept to the finish. It also keeps the finish uniform in case of use, considering this chandelier has moving parts. Last nickel plating is a bit more warm than chrome.
This chandelier uses an ingenious rotating stem structure and features a shallow drum-shaped shade at the end of each arm. The chandelier arms are designed with two lengths so that each can be staggered at different angles. They work well in any space and suit both regular and low-ceilinged rooms wonderfully.
This is the medium Sistema chandelier, with 3 arms and 6 shades. Ideal for an oval or long dining table. It works well also over an island. The result is uniform lighting from above the dining table. There is nothing else like this on the market. There are beautiful chandeliers available, but they always tend to give out too much light in the center and too little at either side.
Each shade has two LED strips that can be lit separately. In this way you can have either a regular light or a stronger light depending on how you need to use the chandelier. The LEDs are top quality with a CRI of over 80. This ensures that the natural color of food and people can be seen perfectly. The LEDs are on a 24V direct current feed, so there is no flickering.
The arms can rotate 180 degrees, for many possible combinations. See the drawing for the two regular positions. The chandelier can also be rotated when it is lit. The shades can be rotated on the arm axis to meet any lighting needs in a living room (paintings, bookshelves etc.). The shades have neutral white glass fixtures. Please see the photos. On the back there is a smaller Lucite opening for giving ambient light. This listing shows measurements for a dining table and the smallest drop. A change of drop is complimentary. This chandelier features four counterbalanced arms that can be moved up and down and also slightly lateral movement. With its pivoting shades, this chandelier effortlessly distributes light throughout the room. Each arm has a counterweight in the same color of the opposite shade.

This chandelier is truly spectacular, and uses onyx with dramatic red veining. While the red onyx gives a beautiful, sculptural look to the chandelier, it does reduce light output a little, so most of the light comes from the upper hole. This makes it ideal for ambient light or as a sculptural piece.
This unique version is made with patina brass.
Ivory onyx comes from Middle Eastern quarries and has a unique veining. This translucent stone is carefully worked in Italy, and was chosen because of its combination of interesting patterns, high translucency, and the way it makes the light output look warmer.
Our onyx supplier has worked in many high-end architectural projects, and these same materials have been used at the Armani hotel in Milan. When he was shown the chandelier designs, he rose to the challenge and adapted his tooling to make us perfect round discs. He worked hard to find exactly the right thickness that would keep the depth of the texture. It could not be too thick, otherwise it would lose transparency. And too thin, it would look like it was printed.
The result is stunning. The combination of carefully-worked translucent stone and brass works perfectly, and the use of the ingenious Orbitale structure allows the geometry of the chandelier to be played with, and it can be configured in several ways.
There is nothing else like this on the market.
