About Murudé
Murudé (formerly Design Stories) creates refined, eclectic spaces that reflect the distinctiveness of its environment and the people who inhabit it. Whether that’s a rural country house steeped in history or a farm to table dining space, we fuse different styles and periods - new and old - to create timeless designs with a hand-finished quality. The common thread between every project is an elegant and understated yet warm and inviting style.
Growing up in Cyprus — surrounded by its raw beauty, nature and diverse history — Murude gained a deep appreciation for natural materials. Her heritage has influenced her as a designer and sparked a love for textures, as well as antiques that have been passed down for generations and handmade furniture crafted using traditional skills.
With both national and international clients and projects, the studio has delivered projects across a broad range of skills and disciplines. Murude is a central figure for client relationships and personally leads all design projects. Getting to know the people who inhabit the space, understanding their needs while creating places that evoke emotions and connection is at the heart of everything she does.
With expertise, that span architecture, antiquities and textiles, their varied skills and experiences give them the confidence to tackle every aspect of interior design projects.
