Kristen McGinnis Design is a full service interior design firm located in New York City. Kristen McGinnis, founding principal, launched the firm in 2005, and to this day personally oversees every phase of finely honed spaces for discrete and discerning clients. She has a curator's knowledge of 20th and 21st century art and design which is flawlessly integrated with a breadth of interior styles to create a unique and personalized vision.
Her interiors are timeless and elegant with a heightened sensitivity to color and a focus on materiality. With a background anchored in many design disciplines, McGinnis consistently pulls inspiration from not only interior design and architecture, but also fashion and fine arts. She brings a couture level of detail to her interiors, often designing custom furniture, lighting, and millwork for these spaces, while pushing the envelope with innovation.
