19th Century Boucherie Chevaline French Tradesign

Boucherie Chevaline We are proud to offer a late 19th century Boucherie Chevaline, zinc gold leaf hand beaten butchers advertising trade sign. These items have become rare over the years especially the original gold leaf finished examples. Untouched in form in very presentable condition, with age related wear you may come to expect from an item of its age. This highly decorative object comes with its own bespoke cast iron display stand. Size in inches approx.: H 23” x W 15” x D 16” Period: 1900 Material: Zinc Origin: France Condition: Aged Completely solid in structure and form, worn surface, loss of painted to the support neck section, where it would have been hung, Verdigris and age discolouring to the surface as shown in the photos. It is exceedingly difficult to photograph all the areas on this piece. Therefore, we strongly suggest reviewing all the photos provided as part of this advert and propose questions where sections / condition is unclear to avoid disappointment when purchasing.
