Wonderful sculpture and a beautiful, mixed materials work of art.
This serene yet strong face on a beautiful mineral stone base 'spoke to me'. For me that has always been the best reason for purchasing an antique or a modern work of art. The surface of this bronze and its rich patina are two other reasons why it is so pleasing to the eye. It is not signed and difficult to date, but we think it dates from circa 1960-1970. This fine bronze too looks much better in real life than in a picture. The lack of a third dimension and the fact that you can not feel this tactile work of art takes away some of its beauty. However, that almost always results in an enthousiastic reaction from our buyers when they see our items in real life. This rare and possibly unique sculpture is in the best condition possible and ready for you to enjoy. If this peaceful, marvelous, serene and well balanced bronze speaks to you too then it could be flying your way soon.
