A visionary figure in the 1920s Parisian decorative arts scene, Louis Lourioux was known for his bold stylish designs and fast lifestyle, circa 1920-1930 by Louis Lourioux, France. This stunning example of Modernist aesthetics in the Art Deco period features dimensional dots and stripes on a gourd-form pottery vase. The colors are subtle hues and the balance of the composition thoughtful. Beautifully made, it is in excellent condition. Remarks: "Deco is the wellspring of Modern, Post Modern, and Contemporary design." Size: 5 3/4 inches high by 5 1/4 depth Hallmarks: LL on Wings maker's and designer's mark for Louis Lourioux Stock number: 22255.
