19th Century French Silver Plated & Glass Tantalus Set, c.1880

About the Item

Antique late-19th century French four bottle Tantalus, clear glass applied with silver plated mounts and stoppers. The tops are engraved with various drinks, such as curacao, anisette, chartreuse and fine champagne. The four bottles are presented in a handle held carrying rack, a very elegant and rare set, perfect for after alfresco dining. Hallmarked with a French makers mark in a lozenge BP (Blanvillain & Normand, active 1872-1882) Condition: In great condition, no damage. Size: Height 28cm Width 15cm Weight 1845g.
