Set of SIX Edwardian Glass Tumblers Engraved Drinking Glasses, circa 1905

About the Item

These are a good set of six crystal glass, engraved tumblers or drinking glasses, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1905 Each glass tumbler has a circular slightly tapered shape, decorated with an engraved horizontal pattern to its upper half with a vertical cut pattern above the base rim, producing an attractive and decorative glass. The glasses are in very good condition, making this a very usable set.. This type of engraving on English glass was very popular in the English Edwardian period circa 1905 and further into the early 20th century, with different etched and engraved designs often referred to as "Pall Mall" glass. Note: The engraved pattern is hard to photograph and the engraving is much easier to see when viewing the glasses in real life.
