Storyteller: The brewery employees waited as the crate containing the ancient Opaline decanter was unloaded from the truck. The decanter, fashioned in the traditional Bohemian style, was stunning. Mr. Johnson bought it during an auction to commemorate the plant's anniversary. Decanters triggered mixed reactions. Tony, on the other hand, had different ideas. He intended to trade the decanter, which was shaped like a barrel and embellished with gold geometric decorations, for the recipe for the company's best beer. Tony spent a significant amount of time at the facility planning this crime. The decanter was impossible to resist. After a hard day, he returned to the factory. Tony carefully removed the decanter from its wrapping and held it up to the light. The gleaming curves dazzled him. He silently filled the decanter with the company's finest beer. He discovered something just as he was preparing to leave. As the decanter's gold lines had faded, he expected to get a reduced price for it. Tony became terrified at the prospect of what might happen. While he pondered, footsteps approached. Tony was on his way to the garage when he was halted by Mr. Johnson. Tony was geared up to tell Mr. Johnson the truth as he approached. When he became aware that Mr. Johnson was standing directly next to him, a startled expression appeared on his face. In the end, Tony was, thankfully, provided with a second opportunity to make the most of the situation he found himself in. When the decanter, which was made of opaline glass, was put back where it belonged, it almost immediately became a symbol of sophistication and straightforwardness. About the storyteller: Consider the storyteller to be a figment of the vendor's imagination. As to how this tale relates to the actual histories of the artifacts on display, it is a mystery. We sincerely hope that you enjoyed the story. with hope and love. Ash

  • Single Goblet Shaped, Gilded and Painted White Opaline Glass Luster, Late 19th C
    Located in Queens Village, NY
This luster takes the form of a goblet, and it is covered in stunning Islamic and Arabic motifs. There's a good chance that the product was made with the Turkish market in mind. It was created in France between the years 1850 and 1920, but the exact year is unknown. This particular luster has not even the slightest chip or crack in it. Because the artwork is not burned into the glass and some of it has been scratched out through the years, we are unable to come to a consensus regarding how old this item is. The gold and the paintings have both lost some of their color and sparkle as a result of the passage of time. We are selling this beautiful luster on different platforms; please check availability before purchasing. More photos may be provided if necessary. One day, she came across a stunning luster goblet with intricate Arabic designs covering it. Amina was immediately drawn to its beauty and knew she had to have it. As she examined the goblet, she noticed that it was in perfect condition, with no chips or cracks, and the designs seemed to be etched into the glass. She wondered about its age, and after some research, she discovered that it was made in France between 1850 and 1920, most likely for the Turkish market. However, the exact year of its creation remained a mystery. Excited to show off her new find, Amina invited her friends over for a small gathering. As they admired the goblet's unique decorations and shimmering gold, Amina noticed her friend Ali studying it intently. When she asked if everything was alright, Ali shared a memory from his childhood: his grandfather's ancient Arabic...
