Antique English Sterling Silver Entrée Dish
About the Item
An exceptional, fine and impressive antique George V English sterling silver entree dish; an addition to our ornamental dining silverware collection.
This impressive antique George V sterling silver entree dish has a plain oval rounded form.
The surface of the dish is plain and embellished with an applied band of interlacing and bead ornamentation to the rim.
The entree dish retains the original hallmarked cover, encompassed with further applied interlacing ornamentation to the upper plateau.
The impressive cover is fitted with a plain rounded handle to either end.
Condition
This antique entrée dish is a very good gauge of silver, excellent quality and in exceptional condition. This silver entree dish has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition. The applied decoration is very sharp. Full hallmarks to the surface of the dish and cover are very clear; the maker's mark to each set has wear in keeping with age and location, but remain legible.
