Silver 800 Art Nouveau Basket Original Blue Glass Liner Bremen, Germany

Gorgeous Art Nouveau Silver 800 basket with handle and original cobalt blue glass liner. Made in Germany/ Bremer Silberwarenfabrik, circa 1905-1910 As from year 1905 Bremer Silberwaren-Fabrik used the figural "torch" mark. The BSF mark was probably a later choice. The firm closed in 1981. Their dies were purchased by Wilkens & Soehne. Hallmarked: German official hallmark existing: - Crescent with Crown - Silver 800 - torch mark visible (= Bremer Silberwarenfabrik) - number 1101 Specifications: Art Nouveau silver basket vintage with original glass liner. Nicest silver basket of Art Nouveau period, with tall handle and original cobalt blue glass liner. Stunning decorations: The reticulated basket is ornamented with garlands of flowers' blossoms at top area, further with wickerwork and ram's heads. The handle as well as the original glass liner are perfectly matching the basket which is based on four feet. Size: height 12.59 inches / Handle included 32.0 cm diameter 8.46 inches / 21.5 cm Silver weight: 740 grams / 26.04 oz / 23.79 troy ounces Excellent condition ! There aren't any imperfections existing (any dents, missing parts etc.)
