Stunning Georgian English Sterling Silver crested cream jug of outstanding quality and good heavy gauge.
Of classic oval baluster form with traditional helmet spout, reeded border and angular handle, raised on four ball supports.
Mark of WA for William Abdy London, began in September 1790.
Assayed in London in 1809.
Condition: Superb condition with nice clear markings, with no imperfections, removals or alterations, no wear to gilding inside. This exceptional piece has had very little use.
Height: (entire) 4.25” (11cm). Width: 5.5” (14cm).
