An exceptional, fine and impressive, large antique George V English sterling silver salver; an addition to our silver dining collection This exceptional antique George V sterling silver salver has a circular shaped form. The surface of this impressive salver is plain and unembellished. The shaped Chippendale style border of the salver is encompassed with applied moulded decoration. This large antique sterling silver salver is supported by four impressive volute scrolling feet. Condition This antique sterling silver salver is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. This salver has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition. Full hallmarks struck to the underside are very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver. Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of antique silverware.
