Art Deco Loys Lucha Signed Enameled and Frosted Glass Pendant Light, 1930s
About the Item
This beautiful Art Deco molded, frosted, and enamel-painted glass ceiling light features a floral design in yellow, orange, blue, and white colors, signed “Loys Lucha”. Outer edge is decorated with a geometric design. The colorful pendant light is suspended by three ropes with an ornate brass canopy on the top. One new socket for the E27 (E26) light bulb.
Dimensions: Diameter (from edge to edge) 42 cm / 16.53 in, diameter (from one side to the other) 37 cm / 14.56 in, height 40 cm / 15.74 in; the height can be adjusted.
Loys Lucha was the famous glassmaker company of Louis Joseph Chaffard-Luçon (1880-1951), based in Billancourt near Paris, France, and specialized in enameled glass in Art Deco style.
In good condition with slight signs of aging.
The light fixture is in complete working order, but as with all vintage or antique lighting, we would always suggest it is tested and fitted by a qualified electrician.
