Pair, Aladdin Cast Glass Table Lamps
About the Item
Trend setters predict "Granny-Chic" is the next big thing. These lovey table lamps would put you dead on point. Made by the world acclaimed oil lamp company, Aladdin out Chicago, just after the war. Clearly these are not oil lamps, but this is what Aladdin was know for until they ventured out into electrical lighting, with fixtures like these. As you can see from the pictures each has two sockets. One above for the shade and one inside the body to illuminate the beautiful leaf stamped 'Acalite' glass body. ( Not sure I'm spelling that right.)
Fixture has been freshly rewired with period style, UL cord and sockets. Ruffled paper shades are 100% original, in original condition. Amazing survivors. Finial are the originals, that came with te fixtures. ( one is slightly darker than the other I see.) Cords are approx. 4 feet in length.
