This impressive set of sofa and two armchairs was designed and produced by the Australian company Parker Furniture in 1956. Parker has a legacy of creating some of the finest Mid-Century furniture. Made in the California organic modern style featuring rattan pole frames having a gothic lancet arch cathedral design on the back and sides. The frames have a waisted form that gracefully flares out on the ends giving the pieces a distinctive profile. The exposed joints are lashed together with leather rawhide laces.
