Fucina is a concept that derives from half a century of expertise at Lidi, a leader in the metal carpentry sector, based in the Brianza area. Lidi is focused on the processing of the material from a structural point of view and on continuous research into surface finishes, which arises from clients' specific needs as well as from the company's reflections and experiments. Fucina wishes to pursue new challenges and does so trough collaboration with various designers, under the artistic direction of Maddalena Casadei. The fruit of the experience of LIDI, a Lombard company that has been active for more than 50 years, Fucina can rely on wisdom handed down from generation to generation. Giorgio Di Berardino, in fact, has inherited his father's expertise in the techniques that force the limits of metals to the very maximum, elegantly bringing into view the mechanisms of production, always looking for the most innovative solutions for creating winning shapes and lines. Alongside the skill and sensitivity of the LIDI tradition, Fucina has continued to maintain a solid and valuable network of complementary artisans, on whom it has always relied to give life to a true and proper metalworking district.
