Mid-Century Inspired Walnut Sideboard / Credenza by Boyd & Allister
About the Item
This Mid-Century inspired walnut sideboard was designed to provide extra storage in a client’s guest house here in Santa Fe. She loves midcentury design and the guest house has contemporary lines which we aimed to echo in this piece. The straight tapered legs paired with the clean geometry of the case create this balance. The case work is solid walnut with mitered corners on the top edges. The drawer faces are bookmatched highly figured claro walnut. The drawers themselves are solid dovetailed walnut and mounted with euro style under mount soft-close slides. The pulls are custom made in our shop from brass and leather. They are recessed into the top of the drawer faces to be flush with the surface. They are pleasing to touch and patina beautifully over time.

Boyd & Allister
Boyd & Allister is a custom furniture studio located in Santa Fe, New Mexico. We have been hand making furniture for designers and architects around the country since 2010. We custom make each piece using traditional joinery methods and hand select each piece of wood. We source our wood from small sawyers around the country who bring the same level of care to their craft as we bring to ours. Many of our designs are inspired by mid century masters; timeless with clean lines, allowing the beauty of the wood to shine.
Available in walnut, cherry, white oak and ash
Comes with a durable low sheen spray finish but available in an oil and wax if preferred for no additional cost.
