Beautiful oil painting on canvas 1960s by important Italian artist Franco Rognoni (Milan 1913-1999). Work signed and entitled "played at Kreutzer". Work from a historic art gallery in Milan with stamps on the back. Work sold with certificate of authenticity on photo. Attention to the export of this article is necessary to wait for the documents of the Italian Minister of Fine Arts. Waiting times for the document are around 30/40 days. Biographical note He was born in 1913 in Milan where he attended the High School of Applied Art. In 1947 he was called to present his first solo exhibition at the Galleria Annunciata in Milan. In addition to numerous graphics exhibitions in various Italian cities, he exhibits in Germany, Sweden and Switzerland. In 1963 he was awarded at the Venice Etching Biennial. In 1970 he held a solo show at the Nordness Gallery in New York and in the meantime exhibited in the most important Italian galleries. In 1972 the Municipality of Turin dedicated an anthological exhibition to him at Palazzo Carignano.
