About the Item
A lovely portrait painting of a woman in red. The subject of this piece is a woman with light brown hair with a fringe. She looks off to the side and wears a red tank top and a red lip. Painted on paper, the artist covered the entire piece in a soft yellow paint. And then applied a dark green background to his subject. Though unsigned, this piece was brought directly from the artist's estate.
This piece is by the late Oklahoma artist and retired Air Force man Clair Seglem. Seglem painted into his 90s before passing at his Oklahoma residence. He was known for his striking portraits and still life paintings.
