A monumental portrait illustration in pastel chalk on paper. Created by the late Oklahoma artist Clair Seglem, this striking piece of artwork is destined to be shown off in the home of a discerning art collector. The piece depicts a woman with black hair piled on top of her head into a messy bun. She wears a blue open collar blouse, and gold bangles and earrings.
About the artist:
This piece is by the late Oklahoma artist and retired Air Force man Clair Seglem. Seglem painted into his 1990s before passing at his Oklahoma residence. He was known for his striking portraits and still life paintings.
