Original vintage British Railways travel advertising poster for Newquay on the Cornish Coast featuring a fantastic image of a smiling lady surfer wearing a red swimming cap riding a wave in the foreground with people on a sandy beach below sunbathing, swimming in the sea and playing in the rock pools, the house on the rock and suspension beach behind them with the rocky coast line running into the distance. Artwork by the British painter Arthur Harry Riley (1895-1966). Published by The Railway Executive Western Region. Printed by Beck and Inchbold, Leeds. Good condition, restored tears, restored folds, staining, backed on linen.
