About the Item
Jackie had one. Grace had one. Brigitte and Edie too. Considered a "neutral" since the mid-century, a leopard fur coat is the stylish gal's vintage Holy Grail, though this on is not made of the controversial genuine leopard skin Jackie's was. This one just happens to have belonged to a Las Vegas madame on top of it.
A-line stenciled mink stroller coat with notched collar wearable open or buttoned to throat; double breasted construction with four faux tortoise buttons and one throat clasp. Off-seam side pockets; fully lined in gold silk satin.

Chevron Pelt 3/4 Length Collegiate Raccoon Fur Homecoming Stadium Coat– S, 1970s

Back in the 1920s, no self-respecting Ivy Leaguer would attend a game without a raccoon coat (see photos), and in 1928 George Olsen wrote a tune about them. This model, sized and cut for a woman’s figure, is a perfect mix of the blue blooded 1920s behemoth and the boho teddy bear coats of the 1970s à la Joe Namath...

Reversible Ivory Faux Fur Robe w Leonard Paris-Inspired Jungle Lining - M, 1960s
Located in Tucson, AZ
"Wooly Bully" indeed! Words can hardly describe this incredible piece of mid-century fashion: a robe so unique and cozy you'll want to wear it outside the boudoir, thanks to its outrageous Leonard-inspired jungle print lining. And though it probably wasn't meant to be worn inside-out (as the interior has neither pockets nor belt loops) it can easily be reversed so the plush side is in and the jungle print is on display for the world to see.
