Made from luxurious, flowing fabric, it drapes gracefully over the wearer's body, creating an aura of elegance and sophistication. The caftan's design features intricate and meticulously hand-embroidered patterns, typically using colorful threads in a variety of geometric motifs, floral patterns, or traditional Moroccan symbols. These embellishments are often embellished with metallic accents, such as gold or silver threads, adding a touch of opulence and glamour. The silhouette of the caftan is loose and relaxed, designed to provide both comfort and an effortless, bohemian flair. It typically has wide, billowing sleeves that cascade down the arms, giving a sense of freedom and movement. The caftan may be adorned with tassels or delicate fringes, further enhancing its visual appeal. The color palette of the Moroccan caftan is typically rich and vibrant. Deep jewel tones like emerald green, royal blue, ruby red, and amethyst purple are commonly seen, evoking a sense of richness and exoticism. These bold colors are often complemented by contrasting or complementary hues, resulting in a visually striking ensemble.
