About the Item

Gatsbyesque in silhouette, this gown and jacket are so lightweight they would practically appear holographic were it not for their floral pattern. The secret is the unusual fabric, which consists of alternating 1/8” ribbons of printed organza and organza webbing. Victorian hollow glass buttons and silk organdy details complete the gossamer effect for a spring dress almost ghostly in its delicate beauty. Full-length backless sundress with rose pink and powder blue organdy straps and V neckline; matching decorative organza bow at low back. Bias cut skirt with eight gores around hemline for trumpet silhouette; left side inset snap and hook and eye closure. Matching jacket with 2-ply organdy sailor collar and puffed elastic elbow sleeves; faux double breasted front snap closure with decorative colored hollow glass buttons.
