1950s Bruce Arnold Hong Kong Irridescent Red Sequin Beaded Fringe Evening Gown
About the Item
1950s Bruce Arnold, Hong Kong, red sequin & beaded fringe evening gown. Gorgeous iridescent red sequins cover the entire gown and are interspersed with swags of red glass beaded fringe. This is an unusual and hard to find gown in such a vibrant colour. The dress has a low scooped neckline at the front and back with narrow shoulder straps and princess seams, it hugs the torso tapering slightly from the hip to the hem. Hand lined in red rayon, the dress closes at the back with a hand set metal zipper & hook & eye, a twill tape at the waist keeps the dress in place. There is a center back hem vent. There are some missing sequins on each shoulder top and a few throughout but they are not noticed. Marked size 10, but this is a vintage size, fits more like a modern 4.
