About the Item

A 1980's period perfect silk jacquard dress by Rickie Freeman for Teri Jon including big shoulder pads, a voluminous silhouette and tapering hemline. The body of the dress features a black silk fabric accented by abstract magenta polka dots and a subtle jacquard floral pattern with a yoke and button cuffs in a lush black velvet. The dress zips and buttons at the back with a short kick pleat at the hem. A great look for a cocktail party or dinner out. Originally retailed at I. Magnin. CONDITION Previously owned though never worn with the original price tag attached. There are two pulls in the fabric which occurred during storage ... one pull above the cuff of the left sleeve shown in photograph 12 and one pull at the bottom front 8" above the hemline shown in photograph 13. The flaws are well camouflaged by the fabric print. SIZING & MEASUREMENTS The dress is marked a size 8 and fits true to size with attention to the following measurements which may seem large as the dress is unstructured and should have a blousy fit in order to achieve the desired silhouette. For visual reference, the mannequin in the photographs is a size 4.
