About the Item
A rare 1994 F/W Gianni Versace Couture gold metal Oroton chainmail top and skirt ensemble - seen on the model Amber Valetta in listing photo #4 - an editorial photo of the collection from 1994. The 2-piece can be worn as separates or with the sleeveless top tucked into the skirt for a "seamless" look or with the top untucked and draped over the waistband. The top has a high round neckline, princess darts at the bodice and a hidden zipper fastener at center back. The skirt is an A-line silhouette with subtle side draping with a hidden side seam zipper closure. The skirt is lined at the interior with gold tissue lame.
The top and the skirt are labeled Gianni Versace Couture - with size tag 40 only at the skirt. Both pieces are in excellent condition - and appear to have been rarely worn. Given the nature of this "fabric" and European sizing, please consult measurements:
