About the Item
This is an absolutely beautiful Edwardian basque style women's jacket with a peplum and fun trumpet sleeves. We love Victorian and Edwardian jackets and coats, and this one is very wearable and easy to add to a modern wardrobe. This very special jacket closes with hidden hooks and eyes and three double frog closures with decorative soutache loops.
This jacket is in a rich brown velvet luxe fabric, with a light brown linen (or sturdy cotton) lining. The back peplum is lower to a point, which adds to the drama and detail of the jacket. The photos aren't adequate in showing how special this is!
