Vintage 1930s Black Chantilly lace jacket, evening coat
About the Item
A gorgeous and unusual vintage 1930's Black lace jacket.
A long sleeved jacket made from delicate black Chantilly lace with a velvet lined mandarin style collar and a satin trimmed hem.
It has a slightly wavy hemming up the front and fastens at the centre with snap fasteners.
It is a very delicate and unusual, the seams are visible due to the lace being partially see through.
Black floral cotton lace, made in England, early 1930's.
No labels.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, there is some weakness near the opening / fasteners, wavy hemming is not closed off, there are some localised holes in the lace spread around, some near the shoulders and collar area.
