About the Item
Rendered in the most sumptuous shade of burgundy, this original 1940's chenille dressing gown, accented by a decorative chevron pattern, is a wonderful addition to your loungewear collection.
The V shaped neckline is framed by softly turned down notched lapels, which cross over along the décolletage. The simple shoulder line, sets off the wide dolman cut sleeves. The fitted bodice, draws in along the waistline, aided by a matching twisted cotton rope belt, which features simple knots and tassels along each extremity.
The simple skirt-line, showcases the wonderful drape and iconic style of the era.
