Wrapped in charm! This 1970's Don Sophisticates silk wrap skirt designed by Charlotte Ford is a breath of fresh air. The skirt combines two layers of silk ... one layer of sage green topped with an abstract cherry micro-print which introduces red and sage green onto a vanilla background. The sashed waistband can be tied into a bow, knot or double wrapped for various silhouettes. The skirt volume and side pockets create an airy ethereal look. Currently, a label is sewn into the waistband on the green layer but a clip of the stitch would transform this wrap to a reversible design. Imagine pairing this adorable skirt with a tank top and sandals for an effortless warm weather look. Originally the skirt was worn with a simple coordinating top which is included but unfortunately has condition issues under the arms though the skirt is in excellent condition. A note on fashion history ... Charlotte Ford is a member of the Ford automotive family and enjoyed designing clothing with simple lines for professional women from the 1970's - 1980's. SIZING & MEASUREMENTS Both pieces are marked size 'P' for Petite and best fit modern sizes Small-Medium or 4 - 6 though the wrap design allows for adjustments. The following measurements are provided as a guideline. In addition, the mannequin in the photographs is a size 4. SKIRT Waist (Adjustable) 25" - 30" Full Hips 42" Length From Top of Waist to Hem 34" The built-in sash measures 139" from end to end x 7.5" wide (can be doubled for desired effect).
