Circa 1890 United States Fancy Dress, skirt and bodice for circus, sport (?) or simply American commemoration (?) in vermilion red and grey woolen cheesecloth. Dress in two parts, sleeveless bodice, boat neckline, buttoning in front and cream cotton lining. Plastron bouillonné and pleated falbalas with piping work and buttoned patch pockets in a two-colour process.
